Week IX (cont'd)
1. Attended the detailed iteration of yesterday's meeting, "Broadcast Media Training". It was very informative and I actually won some cool prizes.
2. Made some changes on my status and sent it off.
3. Had a meeting with my supervisor. Discussed my exit strategy, final projects (status, etc), some other issues, and just "shooted the breeze."
4. Attended my last status meeting - sadness.
5. Finished adding Outdoor vendors in iBuy - very time consuming. One more vendor still remains, I plan to complete that on Friday or Monday.
6. Did some TMC coverage work in iAnalyze.

Week IX (cont'd)
1. Finished reading the Out-of-Home Guide for my Outdoor presentation. Following, I made more changes on my outline and rehearsed my speech once with a colleague. The "brown bag" progressed quickly and before I realized it was my turn. I think I did a good job of communicating the information I had in a short time frame. I received some positive feedback as well which was very nice.
I was also asked to attend a more specific version of today's presentation tomorrow am.
2. Followed up on iBuy/iAnalyze issues, troubleshooted an existing problem.
3. Completed my "status" for tomorrow's meeting.
4. Added two more AJ Wright GO's - both ROP as well as Preprint versions - to iAnalyze. Added the stores to the database, plotted them, selected media (ROP and TMC products), and ran Store Reports by Trade Radius.

Week IX (cont'd)
1. Documented the IMS issues I have been troubleshooting throughout the summer. It is important to leave it behind with the appropriate person so that it doesn't slip through the cracks when I leave. I don't want anyone to say, "ohh, right, what was that thing that Shael ran across?"
2. Began inputting two outdoor vendors into iBuy but ran into some technical issues.
3. Called a vendor and requested an updated, audited coverage report.
4. Scouted out some images from Google image search and other pages as aides in my Outdoor presentation. Today I will continue reading up on Outdoor.
5. Continued my work on the Media Cost per DMA project for AJ Wright.
6. Made a mental note of all of the projects and work that still remain. I have resolved - neigh set a goal - to complete all outstanding work by my end date. In accordance with common management practices my goal is: “SMART”: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely.

Week IX
1. Set up half a dozen Marshalls GO's in iAnalyze. Added the GO, stores (lats, longs, etc), selected print, and printed coverage reports by trade radius.
2. Completed pulling Arbitron (Radio) Rankers for AJ Wright Spring GO's. I used Media Pro to break them down by Metro area and 5 Mi. Radius (of the store). I inputted the findings into the media plan.
3. Asked to place a new insertion for a TJ GO in iBuy. This necessitate the addition of a new vendor and a new DMA - a lot of work and modifications necessary. Afterwards I added the new paper and DMA to the buysheet. Tomorrow I will actually place the order.
4. We have a 7/23 Brown Bag (Wednesday) with one of our ad agencies. We'll be discussing media 101 and giving presentation to the entire Marketing department (70 people). One of my co-workers will be off on a market trip so I will be giving a presentation on Outdoor in his stead. We met today to go over a dry run etc. I am bringing some literature home with me tonight to reinforce my knowledge of Outdoor so that I can give a competent presentation.
5. Revised the two FSI's for the Walnut GO and re-sent the IO's.
