Week II (cont'd) (This post is from Wednesday 6/4)
For the sake of brevity and lack of time I think I'm going to revert to outline form for my daily blog...
1. Finished up comment columns on Rate Comparo.
2. Completed inquiry into Memphis competitive for AJ Wright for a trip (new GO). Found out competitor locations/info.
3. Was introduced by a co-worker to iAnalyze's partner iBuy. Familiarized myself with the interface and ran some cost reports which I exported to excel and manipulated/formulated. Another co-worker showed me the integration between iAnalyze and iBuy but focused more on iBuy and the steps to create an invoice, production, run lists etc.

Week II (cont'd)
This morning I added a comment column to the ROP Comparisons in order to justify any "significant" % increases in the rates for TJMaxx and Marshalls. I also printed out store reports by trade radius for preexisting GO's (already entered into iAnalyze) which allowed us to view specific demographics and coverage based on our print selection. After spending the last week dabbling in iAnalyze I finally had the opportunity to go throw the motions of setting up a complete GO (Grand Opening). This involved setting up the stores, weighing demographics and coverage, selecting appropriate media etc. This was by far one of the most practicable things I have done thus far. I also printed out store reports by trade radius for preexisting GO's (already entered into iAnalyze) which allowed us to view specific demographics and coverage based on our print selection.

Week II
I finally got my Internet up and running. I spent the earlier part of this morning doing online research that had been building up. I was looking into a Newspaper conference in Las Vegas, the one that I may be attending. The results that I yielded, however, don't really support my chances of going now. Oh well. Following that I had a long discussion/tutorial with one of my co-workers which was really informative. I learned a good deal about the process for grand openings at TJX, which is quite interesting. After I lunch I attended a brainstorming meeting for the prospective grand opening of the 100th AJ Wright store. I got some great feedback and compliments in the meeting for some of the ideas that I presented in terms of promotion and generating a "wow-factor." After the meeting I continued my review of newspaper and advertising literature.
